Superstar Liam Gallagher donned the yellow shirt of Berkhamsted Football Club for one night only.

The former Oasis front man played in an exhibition match in front of more than 200 people at an evening to raise money for the club, which was only formed a matter of months ago.

The game was played between employees of the club's main sponsor Stoneforce and those of Arcadia, on Wednesday.

Stoneforce managing director Paul Smith said: "Because we fitted out Liam's house, a few of the lads mentioned we were having a game and he was saying 'yeah I'll play'."
