The show wasn't PERFECT
The organisation was BAD, we were stuck under direct summer midday sunlight for hours in an enormous queue. There were some local bands before Oasis, and then, 45 minutes late, they finally showed up and my heart started racing.
I didn't like the setlist very much
Too many "new" songs, I'd have liked to hear more classics instead of almost every track in "Don't believe the truth"
But they played most of the essentials (Live Forever, Don't Look Back In Anger, etc) including my favourite song, Champagne Supernova. Made me cry like a girl.
Liam was as expressive as usual. He made some fun remarks but nothing too wild.
Ultimately, I got to see them, my favourite band, play live, and I was really near Liam for some time but the crowd (that behaved awfully, the people from the sides pushed and all of us in the middle suffered a LOT) made me go back to the final lines.
So, I got to see them and that's that. A dat to be remembered. |
