Record Machine - Absolutely amazing!a completely unique and new oasis sound. guitar is mega, best new demo by far!
nothing on me - good song, very DBTT esque, similar to the meaning of soul, but liams voice sounds great and it is quality...
Stop the clocks - tbh, i dunno what all the hype was about....its a good song, lyrically decent, but not a song that seems to hold a candle to Wonderwall, DLBIA, or Live Forever, maybe not yet. Hopefully it will take some getting used to. Again, dont get me wrong, good song, with a great outro! It kinda sounds like Guess God Thinks Im Able in a strange way!
Other DBTT demos are quality, and Lord dont slow me down with liam is excellent.
When these songs are all properly produced, they should be amazing!
Cant wait!~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Im buzzing after hearing these! Havn't felt like this since I heard the leaked Heathen Chemistry album for the first time.
Record Machine is the one that stick in my head the most and I never thought I'd get to hear Stop The Clocks. It reminds me so much of The La's. Noel should definately use this influence on more of his songs. |

Record Machine is ace, i love it, i wouldn't be disappointed if it made an appearance on the new album.
Nothin' On Me would be a decent b-side but nothin' more, it's pretty average, it's the sorta stuff oasis can churn out in their sleep.
Stop The Clocks, well i expected to be slightly underwhelmed but jaysus, it's a bit boring innit. It's The La's Looking Glass but only half as good, I'm a bit fed up of Noels lightweight, acoustic slowies to be honest. Who Put The Weight Of The World On Our Shoulders was a damn good tune and if he can throw that away on a soundtrack and keep this back i dunno what he's thinking. Don't get me wrong it's alright but theres nothing to it.
Still who knows how these songs will turn out, maybe they're clever bastards and put them out there just to throw us off.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I'm wondering more how ill STC will sound with Liam on vocals and a big f*** off orchestra behind it ala Be Here Now. Probably amazing. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

I enjoy STC, its a really relaxing song.
Do you think Liam would actually sing it? Seeing how Noel thinks its the best song ever written, I'd imagine he would want to take the vocals.
Liam's voice is pure shite from these recordings. |

Am I the only one who prefers Stop The Clocks to Record Machine? It's really dreamy, and I love the way he sings 'Over'. It's a bit different to the usual verse/bridge/chorus structure and I like that. Record Machine just sounds a bit predictable, personally. |
