If you're using internet explorer 7 or Windows Vista and above, you don't need to read this.
However, if you're using a Windows PC and you want to view web pages with ClearType smoothed fonts on non-Internet explorer 7 browsers on Windows XP, do the following:
1. Go to Control Panel > Display > Appearance > Effects
2. Check on "use the following method to smooth edges of screen fonts".
3. Select "ClearType".
4. Click on the "OK" button.
5. Click on the "Apply" button.
I feel all text on the screen looks easier on the eye with ClearType turned on.
