ya i have heard its a disaster over in certain parts now.

YES Kath! It NEVER SNOWS in Buenos Aires, the capital. Elephant_Stone is from Mendoza, a province way north compared to us who live in the capital (east-center of the country) and there's a ski center, as in other places of Argentina. But not in the capital.
I'm still in awe. It snowed for hours and the last time something like this happened was 89 years ago !   I'm glad I took pics, my bf and I were so excited about it! I mean, everyone here was. Kids playing on the sidewalks, making snowmen on the car roofs, everyone buying batteries for their cameras and smiling and being nice to everyone, which is a huge change from the everyday life here. 
Anyway, how are the English people affected doing?
