Time to start the speculation...
Now that we're well into 2007 it's time to start speculating on the next Oasis album.
Will this be the greatest Oasis album of all time?
Will the legendary, best song that Noel's ever written (Stop the Clocks) be on it?
Will Noel go nuts bringing in an orchestra and making a double album?
Will the album be released in 2011?

Well let's hope that Oasis includes Who Put The Weight of the World on My Shoulders on the album, because that definitely deserves inclusion on an Oasis album.

Noel has said that song from the LDSMD documentary doesn't have a name yet, so I can tell you that it's without a doubt not Stop the Clocks. I can also tell you that it is brilliant.
It will be interesting to see how many of these songs we've been hearing about for ages actually make the next album. |

will it be their greatest? doubt it, however i won't rule it out...i am a glass half full type of guy
will stop the clocks be on it? i hope to god that it is so we won't have to deal with anymore idiots saying they've heard it
will noel go nuts with orchestras? um...i wouldn't mind it to be honest, as long as its done right
will it be released in 2011? i really can't imagine them waiting that long...they need to capitalize on the success of DBTT, the world tour, and the BRITS. so i think they'll have it out sooner rather than later.
and yes it will be awesome if all the songs noel has been mentioning are finally on this album...maybe he's been stocking them up, waiting for the break from sony, but what the hell do i know? |

Kind of like how they stuck to their word as to when SOTSOG, HC, and DBTT were released?
If those albums are any indication, go ahead and add a year onto whatever they say. |

Eh. I have faith in the guys. If they don't release it next year, it's no biggie to me. There are tons of other bands to listen to besides Oasis.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

eh. They'll tour when they want to. Like I said before, I stopped holding my breath for them to do things a long time ago.
Right now, I'm more pysched about getting to see Nic Armstrong/IV Thieves in Texas at the SXSW Festival this year.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Nic Armstrong the thieves clearly outshone Jet while on tour with Oasis. Hopefully they'll be opening for Oasis' next American tour.
Do the thieves have a new album out yet?~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
