Even though this song is rated well amongst us fans, I still feel as if the song is not well known enough, as much as say Wonderwall or Champagne Supernova. The lyrics are simply epic, and unmatchable. If you sit and listen to this tune, the music grabs hold of you and pulls you into the song, almost forcing you to listen to it again and again. Not many songs have the power to do this, especially music today, in the sense of rap or R+B.
Oasis deserves much more credit for songs such as this. When you ask anybody in general, 'you ever heard of oasis?' and normally the reply is something similar. 'Sure, i've heard wonderwall, great song.' And this is no lie, wonderwall is a infamous song, but there are many Oasis songs that seem to have fallen through the cracks such as this one. |

This is an excellent tune because of the lyrics. It clears out all the fakeness and just says what everyone is really thinking. I love the honesty and the simplicity of the melody.
I agree with everyone else that it should've been an A side tune. |
