Classic, 01/08/2008, by catney11 |
I have too this album is tied with Don't Believe the Truth as my favourite album. Every song is a gem, and they are all epic.
People complain it's too long, what is that implying? The length of songs/and album has no connection with how good they are.
Classic album that is under-ratedm almost every song off it could be a single. Oasis's Sgt Peppers in my opinion and just mega!!!!
MAD FER IT! |

I like this one, 12/05/2008, by meclarkester1994 |
| I like this album. It has brilliant music on it but maybe some of the tracks would be better if they had made them a little shorter but apart from that it was a brilliant album and The Girl In The Dirty Shirt is probably my favourite song on this album. |

Great album, rubbish timing!, 28/03/2008, by IKilledElvis |
Oasis were at the very height of their fame at the time of Be Here Now. This album was released literally days before the death of Princess Diana. Before that, the media were giving it all positive reviews and it got a great reception. Then that happened, and the media, being as they are, just began slagging off!
Well, no matter what they say, this is a great, very underrated album. Some of these tracks, like D'You Know What I Mean? and Stand By Me are just Oasis at their very finest. If anything, it's a bit too long. But quality is more important that quantity, as they say! |

| Rock n' Roll at it's finest! I love every track on this album, even if most of them were coke fueled! bravo! |

A coke high preserve to cd, 26/04/2007, by MrsOasis |
Be Here Now is loud, sharp, massive, a cociane high that seems like it will never end. Oasis was on the top of the world and it shows, the total excess of this record makes it great.
Its not a suprising record for Oasis, which is probably why the critics panned it. Oasis only being on their 3rd record, most people and critics were expecting Oasis to envole, just like most rock bands. But Oasis didnt, with Be Here Now, Oasis made a stomping rock n roll record, it was stagnent, 60's like, not what everyone was looking for.
Still looking back, its always been a great rock n roll record and fine example of the crazy excess runnning through the Oasis camp at the time. Be Here Now is a time capsle more than it is a classic album. In the end it more than fully lives up to its name. |
