I originally wrote this review for rateyourmusic.com
Morning Glory was truly the high-point of Oasis' creative genius and popularity. I guess this album appeals to more people because of the softer, more intimate songs like 'Wonderwall' and 'Cast No Shadow' (the overall atmosphere being notably softer than the previous album). It is a brilliant collection of songs that hails as one of the best albums of the '90s. It is difficult for me to pick a favourite between this record and the previous one 'Definitely Maybe'. The B-Sides of the singles from this album are almost all just as amazing as the tracks on the album (some even more-so). Oasis were most definitely the best band in the world during this time. There really isn't any lackluster moments on this album; it really is solid gold (well, actually, multi-platinum in the UK, US and Canada). My favourite songs include 'Champagne Supernova', 'Don't Look Back In Anger', 'Cast No Shadow', and 'Some Might Say'. |

Superb?, 05/07/2008, by sammy_jay |
| Brilliant, Wonderwall being the highlight of the album, the song that defined Oasis, another highlight is Cast No Shadow, the most underated Oasis song ever. |

It's not as good as Definitely Maybe
but still miles better than anything anyone has released since. It has some of the songs that defined the nineties like Wonderwall, Don't Look Back In Anger, Some Might Say, Morning Glory and Champagne Supernova. Plus it's got She's Electric on it |
